How do I support this project?

  1. Click the green “Back this Project” Button in the top right of the page.
  2. Pick the reward that you’d like to order.
  3. Create an Account (if you haven’t already) or sign in.
  4. Provide your card information and click ‘Pledge’.
  5. Your credit card will only be charged at the end of the campaign, if it reaches the funding goal.
  6. We’ll be in touch with you shortly after that to collect your shipping address!

I'm a VIP! What does that get me?

First of all, thank you for being one of our early supporters! You should already received an email from us with more info, but as a VIP you will:

  1. Get all the Kickstarter upgrades included in your game (i.e. upgraded wooden tokens).
  2. Get an exclusive “mini-expansion” that adds additional contestants to your game
  3. Get priority shipping (i.e. we’ll ship out your game first when possible)

NOTE: We may include the mini expansion in all copies of Lovestruck, but even we don’t, you’re guaranteed to get it included in your game for free!

Are local taxes like VAT included in the price?

It would not be accurate to include local taxes in the price as it differs from country to country. As we ship worldwide, the local taxes will be calculated and added in the Pledge Manager after the campaign, once everyone entered their shipping address.

For countries with customs-friendly shipping, we will collect the VAT in the pledge manager but pay any taxes on your behalf so you get the game smoothly.

So for example if you are located in the EU, you will be required to pay roughly 21% VAT in the Pledge Manager (depending on your country) but then you will not need to pay any VAT when you actually receive the game. For more information on Shipping and Taxes, please refer to the ‘Shipping’ section of the campaign page.

Can I get multiple copies of Lovestruck or any of your other games?

Yes! If you choose any of our bundles, you can choose Lovestruck as one of your additional games. And then after the campaign ends, in the BackerKit pledge manager, you’ll have the chance to add more copies of Lovestruck, or any of our other games, to your cart as well.

Tell me more about the retailer pledge.

If you back at the retailer pledge level you will be able to select any combination of 24 Rabble Games (Rabble, Sync, Sparks, Lovestruck). Rabble, Sparks, and Lovestruck come in boxes of 6 while Sync comes in boxes of 12. We will require proof of retail location in the pledge manager.

Depending on your shipping country we may need to charge extra shipping in the pledge manager, but we will discuss with you first before making any adjustments. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions.

You are welcome to pledge for multiple cases of 24 games by pledging an additional $300/box. This can be done during Kickstarter or in the pledge manager after the campaign.

How and when will you collect my shipping address/How does shipping work?

We will email a Backerkit survey to the email address associated with your Kickstarter account. This will be sent in the weeks after the campaign has ended. You will be able to enter your shipping address there and pay for shipping/any applicable taxes/duties/VAT.

Since shipping costs fluctuate so much, collecting shipping later on gives us the most accurate rates possible and allows us to try and absorb as much of the shipping cost as possible to get a discounted rate to you.

If my reward includes other Rabble games, will those ship before Lovestruck is ready?

In order to save on shipping and logistics costs, all games will ship together with Lovestruck (estimated delivery September 2024).

What if my shipment gets lost?

If your order is lost or returned due to unforeseen circumstances, we will attempt to reship your game one time, free of charge. If you provided incorrect shipping information, you will be responsible for the reshipment fee. Please check the shipping details for countries we are NOT shipping to. If any issues arise with your country’s mail system we will contact you to resolve any issues before we ship.

Tell me more about VAT for EU/UK orders.

We will be shipping all EU orders out of the UK with DDP methods, so when they arrive you should not have any taxes/fees. We will charge VAT to EU/UK backers in the pledge manager (I believe 20-25% of purchase price depending on the country) but that should do it. To account for that, we plan to absorb as much of the shipping charges as possible which is why the shipping estimates are low for EU/UK backers.

Tell me more about the Producer Bundle!

Since we’ll be hand-shipping the producer bundle, the bundle is only available to backers in the USA. A couple other notes:

-You’ll still get the regular Intention Cards in your copies of Lovestruck but you’ll also get an exclusive set of Intention Cards that are upgraded to punchboard material!

-The tote bag will have a LOT of goodies but we don’t want to ruin the surprise.

-We’re happy to sign your games, a card, or anything we can put a sharpie on.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
